Working at heights is a high-risk activity and the leading cause of death and serious injury in Australia. According to Safe Work Australia; between 1 January 2003 and 31 December 2015: 359 workers were killed following a fall from a height—11% of all workers killed over this period. The greatest number of fatalities involved falling from roofs (59), and ladders (54). Workers aged 45 years and over made up 65% of those who died. It may have began as a wet and foggy morning over Sydney Harbour, however nothing was going to stop the HMAS Darwin from making her grand arrival back to Garden Island this morning after 7 months at sea. As if on cue, the low cloud cleared just in time to capture stunning aerial drone imagery of the naval frigate berthing. Hoverscape co-ordinated closely with the crew on-board to organise the safe operation our drones in close proximity to the warship, allowing us to capture unique aerial photographs and video of her arrival.
